Búho: Intro to Bachata by Honolulu Bachata Club
Buho Cocina y Cantina is bringing a new rhythm to Waikiki with the launch of “Fiesta Friday,” a weekly rooftop Latin dance night beginning Friday, May 22.
Taking place every Friday night in the heart of Waikiki, Fiesta Friday combines beginner-friendly Bachata lessons, social dancing, and live DJ sets with BUHO’s signature rooftop atmosphere and city views.
The evening begins with an Intro to Bachata class hosted by the Honolulu Bachata Club from 7:00 PM to 7:45 PM. Designed for all experience levels, the class offers an approachable and welcoming introduction to Latin dance for both locals and visitors.
Following the lesson, guests can enjoy social dancing from 7:45 PM to 10:00 PM, featuring a Bachata- and Salsa-focused playlist. The night continues with a live rooftop DJ set by Ritmo 808 DJs from 10:00 PM to 1:30 AM.
With energetic music, rooftop vibes, and late-night dancing, Fiesta Friday aims to create a new weekly destination for Waikiki nightlife and Latin dance culture.
